The brainchild of a longtime Angel owner, Angel technician, Angel e-community moderator, and all around paintball tinkerer and enthusiast best known to the world as "dr.strangelove", AngelLaserEyes.com began as the culmination of a long DIY project to create an alternative to the plastic circuit "ribbon" eyes included in Angel paintball markers.

Many frustrated Angel owners can attest that the stock ribbon eyes have a tendency to become brittle over time, making them difficult to clean, remove and reinstall without causing irreparable damage. The issue became more than an annoyance when Angel Paintball Sports announced the end of parts support for all of their Angels released prior to the A1. While several community DIY projects had managed to get working wired eyes into Angels, they all required some type of modification to the Angel circuit board or drilling out the body of the marker, and could not be used as an off the shelf replacement for the stock ribbon eyes. Necessity being the mother of invention, the good doctor found himself hunkered down with a soldering station, various ribbon cables, and a 2,000 page electronic parts catalog until he finally hit on a solution. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Since then several new products have been added, and Angel Paintball Sports has, unfortunately, closed its doors. It has been a privilege to continue supporting Angel markers and the Angel community, as well as to provide one-of-a-kind, bespoke eye solutions for custom projects across the paintball spectrum.
